Sanober has over 10 years of experience in research, analysis and policy development within the Ontario Government and broader public sector. Examples of projects and consulting assignments she has been involved in include:

Planning and Performance Measurement

  • Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario (CAHO) Strategic Plan and Annual Operational Plan Development – stakeholder interviews, drafting of operational plans including target setting
  • Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Health System Scorecard –jurisdictional research, development of performance measures
  • CultureLink (immigrant settlement agency) strategic planning – meeting facilitation, target setting and ongoing monitoring

From 2008 to 2011, Sanober was the Director of Policy and Research at the Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario (CAHO), which is the industry association of Ontario’s largest and most complex research hospitals. Prior to that, she worked at St. Michael’s Hospital, Baxter Corporation and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, undertaking a range of policy and implementation projects.

Sanober has B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Toronto. With several publications and awards for research writing to her credit, Sanober has demonstrable skills in tackling complex strategy and policy issues in a pragmatic manner, driving towards actionable results.
