SEG and our strategic alliance partners have broad experience across the range of public agencies including:

Public Agencies
  • Provincial agencies of the Ontario government (close to 200), subject to the Province’s Agencies and Appointments Directive,
  • Non-classified agencies (about 300) that normally have one or more board members appointed by the province and have varying degrees of accountability to the province; and
  • Numerous transfer payment and other public agencies that are accountable for funding received from government or for delivering services mandated by government.

SEG on TBS Shortlist for Provincial Agency Mandate Reviews

Treasury Board Secretariat qualified SEG on the shortlist of vendors on VOR OSS – 00426611 for use by ministries conducting mandate reviews of provincial agencies in 2014-15. SEG successfully completed a mandate review of two agencies of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

SEG and our strategic alliance partners have a deep understanding of the range of provincial agencies and strong experience with the type of policy review required for agency mandate reviews.   Most of our seasoned consultants also bring a wealth of experience as former senior managers in the OPS and understand the government’s decision-making processes.
